Miss Soulard Oktoberfest 2009
Kaileigh Meyer
Kaileigh Meyer was chosen in October as the 2009 Miss Soulard Oktoberfest. This was the third annual pageant for the festival. She is a 2008 graduate of Allied College where she earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting which enabled her to become a Registered Medical Assistant. She is employed at Patient’s First Health Care in Union, Missouri. She is extremely involved in her community through the Relay for Life, 4-H, FFA, Nurses for Newborns, and the United Way. Miss Meyer was chosen as Miss Soulard Oktoberfest 2009 based on her public speaking skills, photogenic ability, community service record, and evening gown. She enjoys horseback riding, bonfires by the creek, and taking her tractor off the farm to local tractor pulls where she frequently surpasses the male participants in the competition. She is extremely proud of her German heritage on both sides of her family and is excited about her upcoming year of reign representing the German community and the Soulard Oktoberfest.
